This is an important role within higher education settings, including universities. This course will equip those operating as a Designated Safeguarding Lead or Deputy. The competencies delivered will follow the Intercollegiate Document, Working Together to Safeguard Children, The Care Act 2014 and the Mental Capacity Act of 2005.
Description
The aim of this course is to provide Designated Safeguarding Leads and Deputies with the skill sets, competencies, and confidence to carry out the role of managing safeguarding in your higher education setting.
